Nursery Letters

Reba contacted me to recreate some hand painted letters she had found on another site.
I have done nursery letters before, but nothing this detailed!

Miss Kennedy's nursery is Hot pink, black and white.
I used some of the same ideas from the other site, but added a little of my own touch.

You can see all the close-ups on my facebook, but this was my favorite!

Yard Signs

Candace contacted me about making a yard sign for her precious Adalyn's birthday party.

Miss Adalyn has a fall birthday, and she wanted to incorporate that into the sign.

We also decided to make it more general, so that she could use it every year.

Close-ups of the detail:

Made-To-Order

My favorite projects are those that are made specifically to match a nursery theme.
I like to incorporate details from the bedding and make a one of a kind creation for your room.

For Brenley's room, this was the inspiration:

I loved the birds from this bedding!!
And I particularly wanted to work in the polka dots and all thier detail.
The James 1:17 verse worked perfectly for this theme and I loved the way it turned out!

The colors are a little deceiving in these photos, but again,
the gloss on the canvas makes them hard to photograph.

Here is the side detail, to incorporate those polka dots

First Order

My first order was placed at the baby shower where my original signs were debuted.
(A special thanks to Sabre Carrie for that! )

She loved the Cinderella quote, but wanted to it match her girls' room. All I was told was the room was purple and hot pink. And this was the end result!

I had alot of fun with this one.
I thought the silver really made it pop, and the crowns turned out SO cute!

Here are a few close-ups of the detail. They're a little blurry because of the gloss on the canvas, but you get the general idea...

Shout Out

Just wanted to give a little shout out to another struggling artist!!

These were taken at the baby shower, I think you can tell how excited mom was with the way they turned out!

Addi's Nursery

This is where it all started!!
These are the signs I made for my precious neice/goddaughter's nursery.
Her colors were Pink, Brown and White. ( I threw in the green just to spice things up.)

Creating more Clutter for your life!

Hey y'all!!

Sorry it's taken me a while to get this thing up and running, I've had alot going on these past few weeks. Let me start by telling you who I am and what I do.

My name is Amanda Eugene. I'm 24 and live in Terrell, Texas. I have a BS in Communication and Art from Dallas Baptist University, and this time next year (God willing) I'll have my MBA in Entrepreneurship. Don't beleive the hype, though, that a degree will make all your dreams come true because I was recently laid off from my job of 2 years. I decided that with all this spare time, I might as well get back to doing the things I love.

I have always been artisitic, drawing and doodling as far back as I can rememeber. In high school I was commisioned to decorate everything from car windows, to water jugs, to an eco-sized tub of mustard! I've never considered myself a true artist though, my painting skills dont go far beyond paint markers and finger paintings! But I have always loved playing with different lettering styles and sprucing up everyday things to make them more personal.

The idea for Clutter came about when I found out that my very best friend and his wife were expecting a baby. I wanted to do something extra special for my future goddaughter, so I decided to make all the nursery wall decor myself. Her signs were a big hit at the shower, even getting my my first request for a recreation of a sign I had done for Addison.

Since then, the orders have come from all over. Friends of my sister-in-law, my hairdresser, random high school friends, and now, hopefully, from YOU!

I plan to showcase all my projects on this site, but you can also see pictures and get more info on my facebook page. (Dont forget to become a fan!!)
